I had a few good days. I got to go to Lund and Port Hardy with Ray, and I spent a day with Meeka, and a day with Heather and Linda. All good things must come to an end I guess.
Seems I hit a brick wall and I am back on my chair. It started With a headache last week that I was able to ignore, but has slowly gotten worse. Sunday my big toe went numb and had a huge boil like thing on my abdomen. Went to see the doc today, and she looked at the so called boil, told me to draw a line around it, gave me an Rx for anti biopics, and said to keep an good eye on it, if it got bigger to go to the hospital, and if its not significantly better by Monday to go in and see her again. I hope it's better.
On a good note, I an on an on call status with Dr. Saly. Someone cancels and I make a trip down to Victoria. Better than waiting till the end of the month to see her. The only thing is I have not had my spinal MRI yet. I wonder if she will just order the lumbar puncture.
My temporal arterial biopsy came back negative, the scar is healing well. Kinda crappy I don't have big cell disease, a round of prednisone would have helped clear it up. Oh well, such is life.
So it was a good appointment, got some answers, and found out I am on the cancellation list. Makes me feel good knowing that its coming soon and hopefully get answers.
My left ha d had carpal tunnel surgery on it. Dr Oleson said it should bring feeling back to my hand, and if it doesn't, then it is neuropathic in nature. That was feb first, and I still don't have feeling back.
I went to Home Hardware in Campbell River and I found this spray called "That Stuff For Pain" . I sprayed it on my carpal tunnel scar, and within seconds it stopped hurting.
Life is good, this is my forum for venting, and complaining when it gets to bet too much. Today is one of those days.
